easing back in ...

... to blogging, to life in general. Somehow, I went away and although I came back home, physically, I've lost some of me somewhere along the way. In a bid to get things back to normal, I'm posting. Unfortunately, photo quality is terrible. I managed to mess up my camera and now have no LCD and have to aim somewhere in the region of what I want to capture and just hope for the best!

When I crochet I often fall in love with certain stitches and yarns. I kind of fell in love with the colour combination used for my wavy top.

Does that happen to you?

By the way, I did have a wonderful time in Singapore and Malaysia ma sha Allah. My brother and his family went on to Thailand and my sil brought me back this really cool pair of silk trousers.

Ok, they're not actually that colour. They're darker. And they are supposed to look this

I'd spotted them in Kuala Lumpur too. Wrap-around trousers! Aren't they clever? I'm a bit weary of them but so willing to give them a go!

Lots of creative spaces here. Yes, I cheat! It's not even Thursday any more!

  2. Welcome back, love the ripples and flower color combo. And those trousers are so cool, my friend had a bunch of them in linen but I always feel that I might end up naked if I wore them, let us know how they work out, because I saw an easy pattern for these and might just sew a pair for myself
