The work is the same. The company is the same. The management is the same. Most importantly, my lovely colleagues are the same. But we've moved.
And now we get to take in the fresh Jeddah winter air on our breaks!
Another perk?
A bit too close to Tahlia Street, Jeddah's answer to Oxford Street.
The local businesses will love the move!
By the way, Kellie's latest edition of e{pulp} is available. It's free to download and a beautiful collection of quotes and photography.
What a beautiful place to live and work! Although, I'd have to keep my credit cards at home to avoid doing too much damage over my lunch break and the shops :-)
ReplyDeletebeautiful impressions!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of Jeddah! Some parts of Amman look like this, I just love this part of the world. I always feel right at home when I visit. I have never been to Saudi, but one day - insha'Allah!

Looks lovely, and so clean? :-)
ReplyDeleteMasha Allaah looks so wonderful! May Allaah bless you in there Aameen!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see clean rooftops. Around here they are just filled with junk half the time. :/ I don't even really take a lunch break at school. A friend and I walk about 1 pm every day for at least 20 minutes. Sometimes we can use the tabletop if the P.E. classes aren't there. Weather is so nice now, although most folks think it is sooooooooooooo cold. Ha! Happy day to you. Tammy
ReplyDeleteNice to get a peek into your country :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this beautiful impressions, mashaALLAH. I can imagine - it must be wonderful to live (and work) there.
ReplyDeleteenim sou

ReplyDeleteI love learning about other countries so this was a very nice post indeed. It looks like a pretty crowded city!
Have a question to ask: Where do you purchase your perle cottons from? My kids love using them for their embroidery (and so do I!). I've only been able to find the No.8s here but would like to try the Size 5 or even 3. Could you recommend an online source that does not charge a bomb for shipping? I am considering a store in Etsy but thought I'd check with you first :)
love the top photo....nice to see where you hang out mashallah....(by the way I took something from your blog and put it on mine...;)
ReplyDeleteI could say Tahlia from the first pic! Lol, I guess I know Jeddah well. Wonderful place to work... Tahlia, I mean. Enjoy.
