my creative space ...

I saw this and remembered my "need" for Moroccan-style tea glasses!

I figured ...

I think they'll work equally well for Moroccan green tea (shay maghrabi) or Arabic coffee (qahwa).  AND you don't burn your fingers!

What do you think?

I've used the POKAL shot glasses from IKEA.  They look big in the photos but they're tiny!
I have three more glasses, so I'll see about getting those done before we take the kids to Jeddah Science Oasis.

What a cute idea. No more burnt fingers and very pretty addition to the glasses.

Oh now they look amazing! What a great idea. They look so expensive with their little pants on.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Yes Jenni, that's the basic pattern that I've used (link at the top of the post).

Oh Crochet with Raymond, YES! I think they'd be great for tea light holders! But maybe slightly bigger glasses. The ones I've used are 50ml glasses. But yes, I think that's a great idea!

as salaamu `alaykum...

I so love your work ma shaa Allah! So far it has just been embroidery (and I'm so lazy with colours that it's been just redwork! LOL) and digital design :P My plans to crochet have not been realised :(
