i heart hexagons!!!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

I loved crocheting the hexagons for dd7's backpack. They work up quite quickly and felt so soft! Thus, not so long ago I decided to attempt a hexagon blanket.

I say "attempt", because I've never crocheted anything of this size before. Yes, I'm working on a blanket with the Crochet-A-Long, but that's done in monthly doses. I suppose the hexagons too will end up being done in chunks. One of the things that I'm really enjoying with this is playing with colour combinations.

And no joining-a-million-hexagons-together at the end! I'm joining as I go! Just one concern though, is it a tad too bright? What do you think? Can I do a muted border and get away with this kind of volume?

I love it! That is a huge compliment. I am a devoted knitter & usually think all things crocheted look too "granny". You showed me wrong. Crochet can look awesome. And I love the colors!
Thanks for stopping by today!
