my creative space ...

... today, is all about putting pen (or colouring pencil) to paper ...

... and then hook to yarn ...

... and making something that was once floating around in my head.

I had visualised it.  But after trying it out, it didn't look right.  I almost gave up.  I'm glad I didn't.

After a little more tweaking and a decent colour pallette (or two), a pattern may follow. In sha Allah.

But tell me something before you go.  If you crochet, do you prefer tutorials full of pictures, wordy patterns or diagrams?  Perhaps all of the above?

More creative spaces at Kirsty's!!!

Assalamu'alaykum,

Congratulations on your new pattern masha'Allah. It sort of reminds me of the Bargello design I think they are called.

I like the canary yellow and the deep green - I'd never have thought that those colours could go so well together!
I personally am awful at crochet, but when I do attempt to make something, I generally like to go with a pattern of words and 'Loads' of pictures, I find pictures very useful - Diagrams can get rather confusing.
Good luck with it!
