my creative space ...

... was brilliant today.  We spent the morning at a lovely art gallery housing the work of local artist, Safeya Binzagr.

And to top it all off, we were guided through the rooms by the artist herself.  Her work depicts the history of Arabia  in oils, watercolours, pastels, ink and more.  Included in her collection were beautiful, wedding outfits and jewellery from the various tribal regions. She is so talented and her work so inspiring ma sha Allah!

As always, more creative spaces here!

The entrance of the building looks amazing! How fantastic to be shown around by the artist herself. Sounds like a great morning. X

I loved the link to the gallery and their interactive painting. Those lovely wooden windows....have you used those patterns for any inspiration? Do they make different designs? I loved the way they filtered the light and kept the privacy. Wonder if my house could use those??

Oh yes, we were quite forunate to have her talk us through her work and exhibits.

I LOVE the windows and I'm actually working on something right now, using that wooden window imagery. Must do a post about them!
