alphabet walk blog hop
Some of you already know that I've decided to take part in the One Sydney Road Alphabet Walk Blog Hop! It's been interesting seeing what everyone else has come up with. My letter was "U" and it was a little tough. I soon realised that in a city that can be somewhat limited I was stuck with a limiting letter too! But nevermind, here's my take on "U" ...
It's nice to look up now and again in a way that we usuallly don't.
dates!!!
it's a grid of a city with lots of uniform lines
sculptures are EVERYWHERE!

I love what you came up with for U. Although, it's obviously too early in the morning. I thought your "uniform" said "unicorn" at first. "What? She found a unicorn!" :)
Thanks for these interesting glimpses at Saudi Arabia! I love the idea of looking "up"! Maybe we should start a new photo project of just looking up and down. :)
No Urban Crochet? It would be cool if you did spot a Unicorn..
Fiona x
Amy, lol unicorn!?! Yeah, that would have been great!
Erika, you're very welcome. Looking up and down every now and then can be really surprising. I first thought to do this when I was lying under a tree in a park! And since then, I tend to take pictures of the ground too!
Fiona, urban crochet would have been good. My 'hood is not so "happening" though :)
i take the risk be Unoriginal but i love what you come up with you letter.
and idea about spetial project "up-&-down" i like it too.
I agree urban crochet would have been great, not sure how it would be taken in your country though?? Its bad enough here! U did well for the letter U (sounds like Sesame Street now).
My boys, myself and Aunty recently went on an outing and part of the fun was each of us doing an alphabet walk....still have to sort out the photos! :-)
You did a wonderful job with the letter U! I LOVE that you were creative with it..."up" is my fave!! Nice to see a glimpse of your city too :)
Well done on your U's! Difficult choice, but perfectly captured! Can't stop thinking about those dates now....
People found so many different U words, I'm impressed! Clever choices
great collection of photos :)
I love your u words! You did get a pretty tricky letter though.
I adapted the wrap vest as I went along, trying it on Indi as I went. She's nine years old. Email me if you want me to measure it up for you.
ps Those tea cups you made are gorgeous.
